CSR and innovation for sustainable development

  • Are you familiar with such concepts as stakeholders, sustainable development of the company, responsible business, CSR strategy or reporting non-financial data?
  • Do you know how the expectations of the modern consumer are changing?
  • Are you ready to change the terms of cooperation in your industry’s supply chain?
  • Would you like to strengthen your company’s competitiveness but you don’t know how to do it?
  • Do you think about using innovation to improve your company’s market position?

If you are ready to discuss the above issues, we invite you to a workshop during which we will prepare your company to build a development strategy based on innovations for sustainable development and social responsibility.

Project description

Already in October this year we are starting a series of 11 regional online workshops aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises.

The workshop was initiated by the Working Group on Innovation for Sustainable Development and CSR, operating at the Team for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility – an auxiliary body of the Minister of Finance, Funds and Regional Policy. The members of the Group are experts representing various circles, but most of all business leaders in the field of CSR and organizations supporting business in implementing the principles of sustainable development. The working group developed the assumptions for a series of workshops and developed a business self-assessment tool in the field of implementing the principles of social and environmental responsibility. The work of the working group is managed by the National Center for Research and Development.

More information on the Working Group is available on the website https://www.gov.pl/web/fundusze-regiony/grupa-robocza-dsinnowacji-dla-zrownowazonego-rozwoju-i-csr As part of each workshop, we have planned a content-rich theoretical part and intensive exercises based on real market examples.

Part I – Theoretical block (5h)

Introduction to sustainable business development, history of concept development, socio-economic trends, regulatory framework and supporting tools, explanation of the benefits of responsible business model building.

Part II – Practical block (5h)

100% practical classes with discussion and discussions, including stakeholder analysis and mapping, building a responsible business strategy, reporting non-financial data.

Who is the project aimed at?

  • The project is aimed at representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), interested in enterprise development based on innovation and implementation of social responsibility practices, and focused on the sustainable development of the organization.
  • The workshop participants will be entrepreneurs, owners, managers of small and large teams, project coordinators and people responsible in the organization for the process of change and development.
  • Each workshop will be attended by min. 20 and max. 25 participants.
  • One company can send up to two people for training.

What are the benefits of participating in the project?

The aim of the workshop is to provide knowledge about the key social, economic and political trends related to the challenges of sustainable development and, at the same time, the expectations of the development of responsible business practices. The workshop program will be implemented with the use of key regulatory and non-regulatory documents constituting guidelines for enterprises on how to successfully implement the standards of social and environmental responsibility. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the use of numerous tools helpful in building due diligence procedures in everyday business practice.

The workshop will inspire entrepreneurs to analyze their business activities more broadly in terms of their impact on society and the environment, and to shape future development directions in compliance with responsible business standards. They will allow not only to acquire knowledge of social and economic expectations related to the development of responsible market practices, but also to adjust the set of tools and standards to be used in practice, taking into account the specificity of the industry.

We encourage you to reserve a place for the selected workshop today.
